This Y-Cable provides two HDMI jacks from one HDMI source. It can be used to show video on one of the two connected displays. The monitos not being used may (need to) be powered off.
NOTE: This will not function as a splitter with two displays at the same time, unless you are using this with a non-HDCP protected source (such as the Sony PS3 can provide adequate power for shjowing non-HDCP protected video (such as DVD discs) on two displays at once.
1) Power on the source device.
2) Power on the display device (just one).
3) The video should being to display. If this does not work, try to power on the display first, then the source. Double check all HDMI cable connections.
4) If playing Blu-ray video, then only one display will work at a time.
