S-Video Cables
Separate Video, aka S-Video and Y/C carry analog video (typically at 480i or 576i resolution), and without audio.
The luminance (Y; gray-scale) signal & chrominance (C; color) information are carried on separate, synchronised signal and ground pairs.
The most common connector is the 4-pin mini-DIN connector, but there are 7 and 9 pin versions.
