Quarter Inch (1/4") Adapters

The ¹⁄₄ (1/4) inch (6.35mm) TRS connector (tip, ring, sleeve) is common connector typically used for analog signals including audio.

Tip (3): Left for stereo, positive for balanced mono.
Ring (2): Right for stereo, negative for balanced mono,
Sleeve (1): Ground
(4) Insulation rings.

Other TRS connectors are the miniature 3.5mm (~¹⁄₈ or 1/8 inch), and the sub-miniature 2.5mm (~3/32 inch).
