The Mini DisplayPort (abbreviated MiniDP or mDP) is a miniaturized version of the DisplayPort digital audio-visual interface. Pins: 20. Hot pluggable: Yes.
MiniDP ports are found on Apple's Cinema Display, and new Macs, and some Toshiba, HP and Dell notebooks.
Mini DisplayPort may be used to drive displays with a VGA, DVI or HDMI interface, and double as Thunderbolt cables.
